Finally these two birds were printed. I printed them with a vandercook.
It's very hard to stop carving so i carved two more blocks!! They will be printed next weekend and I will learn how to set types next week.

I didn't expect I would be introduced the linoleum block printing when I registered the letterpress class.
I am glad that I take the class. My goal is one day I can make a children book and I know it won't happen too soon, but I will work hard and keep learning. (Also I am still thinking of weaving class, I need more time and more money.)

A childrens book, yes please!

Love the new blocks. Very pretty as they are, like art pieces. The print looks great too.

Beautiful, Yu-i...
I don't think you are as far off as you think you are in putting together a children's book. You have the talent...and the skills...you could make a simple one on the Vandercook.

PS: Where are you taking a letterpress class? I'd love to get back in the print studio...

hello everyone,
thanks for the sweet comments!
i hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

jen,
I took the class in ARMORY in Pasadena. I may take more classes if I have budget in summer.
It's 10 of 2.5-hour classes. 2.5 hours are so short, so much to learn....
