I love those sages in our front yard, they have very delicate purple flowers and the leaves smell like passion fruit. (we have the ones for cooking with fish and meat too but I can't resist the smell of passion fruit..........)

We decided to bring some of them into the house.
Put them in little tea cups.

But half hour later, ...................................
our cats think they are their toys..............

a very nice set of photo

hi, I don't think I've ever left a comment on your blog although I've been reading it for quite a while now. I think your aesthetics are very quiet and thoughtul, but never boring... very nice.
I've only recently bought an SX-70 on ebay and I'm still learning in which light conditions it works best. Your images above are amazing! Do you use a filter at all? So far I prefer the ones I've taken without a filter.
Best wishes from London,
Christine

Last spring/summer, I brought home a small pot of bamboo grass... I was very happy with it and planned to get some more for our roof garden. The following day the pot was bare... my cats had eaten the lot!!!

christine,

the sx-70 i am using now has been converted to take only 600 films,. so i don't need to use any filter. i was told that my sx-70 was already adjusted and it won't have any light control problems.......
but still though,. sometimes i think the colors are too purple when you take the pola under the big sun...

have you heard the " magical hours"??? after sunrise and before sun set there is an hour for best photo shooting......

i prefer morning light,. and turn the adjustment to "light"...... but it all depends too.....

p.s.
we did buy a original sx-70 before, we couldn't take any good polaroids with it so we sold it at the end......

haha...my cats always do that, I got a little air plant a while ago, just to find the cats running around and playing with it.

those are really beautiful images. i wonder which sage that is that smells like passion fruit? i'm intrigued. that's so disappointing to hear about the sx-70, as i just bought one from ebay (an original) and probably won't be able to shoot anything with it. i'll just have to figure out how to convert it to take other film!
