another paper lamp

Chihlung made another lamp which is hung over our dinning table now. It's a big one (diameter is 18 inches).
We used different kind of vellum and it works well

These are gorgeous. can i ask how you hung them over your light - are they over a wire frame?

nina,
we used nylon string to hold the shape. I want to do a simple tutorial about making this paper lamp. I can't do it right now but I will do it later when I have time.

I found Your blog by chance and I'm over the moon with it!
it contains all I've ever been interested in - paper, ornament, textils (my aunt worked as textile designer and was a passionate traditional weaver, so she could thrill me.. ^_^), fashion and and and...
I love Your clear, "tidy" and tiny style.

(if You some day come to munich you might be interested in this paper shop http://www.cartapura.de/. Loved to visit it after university classes... ^^)

I apologize for my bad English
