The tool I used and the wood I picked to carve. It's Manzanita. It's very hard to carve. I wish I had more knowledge about wood before I went to the class.

The final product. It's a spoon for lose tea leaves. (actually I felt that I need to work on this more!!)


We really enjoyed the class. CL and I decided to keep doing wood carving as a habit. We are going to look for the tools and the material to carve.
It was a best weekend!!
